As of 20.09.2026 the Service is in pre-launch preparation. Account creation, in-game purchases, in-game currency and a payment flow do not exist at present and are planned. The provisions of these Terms relating to those features begin to apply the moment the relevant feature is opened for use. When these features are switched on the text will be updated and the update will be announced on this page.
Explanations concerning personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy, cookie use in the Cookie Policy, and in-game and community conduct rules in the Community Rules. These texts form a complementary part of the Terms of Use and are published on fawres2.com.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
- Anyone who accesses the Service, creates an account or plays the game is deemed to have accepted these Terms.
- Anyone who does not accept the Terms should not use the Service.
- The Service is not aimed at children and has not been designed with use by children in mind. Use by minors with the capacity to discern and by persons of restricted capacity is possible with the knowledge and consent of their legal representatives. The minimum age condition to be applied will be announced on this page when account creation goes live.
- These Terms were drafted in Turkish and an informational translation is provided in the other fifteen languages. If any conflict arises between the versions, only the Turkish text is valid.
3. Changes to the Terms
- These Terms may be updated because of changes in legislation, technical requirements or the development of the game.
- We try to announce significant changes on the site, on the forum and on the official community channels before they take effect. Notice is given a reasonable time in advance, taking into account the scope of the change and its effect on the user.
- Notices to the user and notices of a legal nature are also sent through [email protected] where necessary.
- Continuing to use the Service after a change means accepting the current Terms.
- The most current version of this text is dated 20.09.2026, and the last update information at the top of the page is refreshed with every update.
- The user's rights arising from consumer legislation and the ability to invoke provisions that are more favourable to them are reserved.
4. Account creation
Account creation is not available at present. The rules below begin to apply the moment the account system is opened for use.
- The details given when opening an account are expected to be accurate and up to date.
- The rules on one person opening more than one account are set out in the Community Rules.
- Verification steps may be requested during and after account creation in order to protect the balance of the game.
- Opening an account with someone else's identity, contact or payment details is not accepted.
5. Account security
- Keeping the password and access details confidential is the user's responsibility.
- Where unauthorised use of the account is suspected, notice is expected to be given without delay to [email protected] or through the official Discord server or the forum at board.fawres2.com.
- Losses arising from transactions carried out with access details the user shared through their own negligence remain with the user, to the extent permitted by legislation.
- When a security breach is reported, a temporary access restriction may be applied in order to protect the account.
6. Accounts are not transferable
- An account is granted to the user personally. It cannot be sold, rented, lent, given as a gift or otherwise transferred to third parties.
- Listings and brokerage activities aimed at buying and selling accounts, characters or in-game assets for real money are not accepted.
- The measures under section 11 may be applied to accounts found to have been transferred or shared.
- Transfer of an account is not possible in exceptional circumstances such as the death of the user. In such cases, requests from legal heirs are assessed separately, to the extent permitted by legislation and with a view to closing the account.
7. Acceptable use
The following conduct is not accepted within the Service:
- Use of cheat programs, bots, macros, automated play tools, packet editors or similar third-party software.
- Making unauthorised changes to the game client or to server communication, or carrying out reverse engineering.
- Deliberately exploiting errors in the software or game mechanics and failing to report those errors to the team.
- Attempts to attack the server, the infrastructure or other users, to create excessive load or to block access.
- Insults, harassment, hate speech, threats, discrimination and conduct deliberately aimed at spoiling other users' experience of the game.
- Unsolicited advertising, spam, phishing and sharing harmful links.
- Impersonating another user or presenting yourself as a member of the team.
- Any use contrary to applicable legislation.
Detailed conduct rules and the in-game sanction tiers are explained in the Community Rules.
8. In-game purchases
In-game purchases, in-game currency and a payment flow do not exist at present. The principles below apply once paid content goes live, and this text will be updated at that stage.
- The Service may include paid in-game content and an in-game currency. Their names, scope and the conditions for obtaining them will be announced when they are opened for use.
- The price, scope and any duration applying at the time of purchase are shown at the payment step.
- Payment transactions are carried out through payment institutions authorised under legislation. Card and payment details are processed on those institutions' systems and are not stored by Fawres2. Which payment institutions will be used is stated on this page and at the payment step before the payment flow goes live.
- Financial records relating to purchases are kept for 10 years from the completion of the transaction and are deleted or anonymised at the end of that period.
- Prices and campaign conditions may be changed with effect for the future. Completed purchases are not affected by such changes.
- Virtual content obtained through unauthorised or fraudulent means may be taken back.
9. Nature of virtual items
- In-game items, characters, progress records and in-game currency are not a form of property with a monetary value in the real world.
- The right granted to the user is the right to use this content within the limits of the Service, personally and without transferring it.
- This right of use is limited to the period for which the Service is provided and to the validity of these Terms.
- The properties of items, their effects or the conditions for obtaining them may be updated for the sake of game balance. Such changes are announced in advance wherever possible.
- If the server closes, users are informed a reasonable time in advance. The course to be followed for unused balances and paid content that has not expired is explained in the closure announcement. Rights arising from consumer legislation are reserved in all cases.
10. Right of withdrawal and approach to refunds
Since paid purchases do not exist yet, this section does not currently apply. The principles below take effect once purchasing goes live.
- Rights under consumer legislation and the Regulation on Distance Contracts are reserved.
- The relevant legislation contains exceptions stating that the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts covering services performed instantly in an electronic environment and intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer. This exception applies where in-game content is delivered at the moment of purchase. Whether the exception applies is shown clearly at the payment step, for each type of purchase, before the purchase is completed.
- Requests are assessed for purchases that were not delivered, that cannot be used because of a technical fault or that were described incorrectly.
- Refund requests are sent, together with the purchase details, to [email protected] or through the official Discord server or the forum at board.fawres2.com. Requests are concluded without delay and within the periods laid down in consumer legislation.
- Correspondence relating to refund requests and the financial records attached to it are kept for 10 years from the conclusion of the request and are deleted or anonymised at the end of that period.
- For accounts suspended or closed because of a rule violation, closure arising from the violation does not by itself create a right to a refund. This rule does not apply where it turns out that the measure was applied unjustly, nor as regards rights arising from consumer legislation.
11. Suspension and closure of an account
- Where there is concrete evidence that these Terms or the community rules have been violated, measures such as a warning, an in-game restriction, temporary suspension or closure of the account may be applied.
- The measure to be applied is determined by taking into account the gravity of the violation, its repetition and its effect on other users.
- The reason for the measure is notified to the user to the extent that legal obligations and the needs of the investigation allow.
- The user may send an appeal against the measure to [email protected] or through the official Discord server or the forum at board.fawres2.com. Appeals are reviewed within a reasonable time and the outcome is notified to the user.
- The user may request closure of their account through [email protected] or through the same community channels.
- Account details are kept for 10 years from the closure of the account and are deleted or irreversibly anonymised at the end of that period.
- In-game records, character and progress data, technical logs, support and appeal correspondence and financial records are likewise kept for 10 years and are deleted or irreversibly anonymised at the end of that period.
- Requests for the deletion of personal data and applications to the data controller are sent to [email protected]. The details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
- Closure of the account ends the right to use unused in-game content.
12. Continuity of the Service and changes
- The Service may be temporarily interrupted because of maintenance, updates, infrastructure work, a security incident or a technical fault.
- Planned maintenance is announced in advance wherever possible. For unplanned interruptions we try to give information as soon as we can.
- Game content, mechanics, server structure and the features offered may be changed, added or removed over time.
- Technical logs relating to interruptions and faults are kept for 10 years from the creation of the record and are deleted or anonymised at the end of that period.
- If all or part of the Service is discontinued, users are informed a reasonable time in advance.
- Problems arising from the user's internet connection, device or third-party services fall outside the scope of the Service.
13. Intellectual property
- The rights in the Fawres2 name, its logo, the site design, texts, images and other original content produced belong to the team operating Fawres2 or to the relevant rights holders.
- The Metin2 trademark and the rights relating to it belong to the relevant rights holders. Fawres2 claims no right over that trademark and refers to the name solely to describe the genre of the game. If there is any development regarding permission to use the trademark, an explanation will be given on this page.
- The right granted to the user is the right to view the content solely for the purpose of using the Service, personally and non-commercially.
- Copying, distributing, modifying or commercially using the content without permission is not accepted.
- Sharing screenshots taken from the game, video and live stream content on personal accounts is permitted. In such shares you must not appear to be an official representative of Fawres2, must not give misleading information and must not include content contrary to these Terms. If an official partnership or creator programme is launched, additional conditions will be announced separately.
- Content the user shares on the forum, in chat or through support channels remains theirs. The permission needed to display and store that content for the purpose of running the Service is deemed to have been granted. This content and the communication records attached to it are kept for 10 years from the date they were shared and are deleted or anonymised at the end of that period.
- Copyright infringement claims and content removal requests may be sent to [email protected].
14. Limits of liability
- The Service is provided as it is and to the extent that it is accessible. No absolute undertaking is given that it will run without interruption or error.
- To the extent permitted by legislation, no liability is accepted for unforeseeable indirect losses or for losses arising from the user's own fault.
- Cases of intent and gross negligence, together with liabilities arising from consumer legislation, fall outside this limitation.
- Third-party services and the links given to them, including the platforms hosting the official community channels, are subject to the relevant providers' own terms.
- In claims raised by third parties because of the user's conduct contrary to these Terms, liability rests with that user.
15. Governing law and resolution of disputes
- Turkish law applies to these Terms.
- In disputes, we prefer that a solution first be sought through [email protected] or through the official Discord server or the forum at board.fawres2.com.
- Legal notices may be sent to [email protected]. The official correspondence address for written notice will be published on this page once it is determined.
- Users who qualify as consumers may apply to the consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts in their own place of residence, within the relevant monetary limits.
- In other disputes, the competent courts and enforcement offices are determined under the general rules of jurisdiction in the Code of Civil Procedure and related legislation.
- Correspondence and records relating to disputes are kept for 10 years from the conclusion of the dispute and are deleted or anonymised at the end of that period.
- If a provision is held invalid, that does not affect the validity of the other provisions.
