What a Cookie Is

  • A cookie is a small text file saved to your device through your browser when you visit a website.
  • Cookies are not programs. They do not run code on your device by themselves and cannot read the contents of your files. They hold only short pieces of information that the site will read later.
  • By the party that stores them, cookies fall into first-party cookies (stored directly by fawres2.com) and third-party cookies (stored by another service present on the site).
  • By duration, they fall into session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) and persistent cookies (which remain until the set period expires or you delete them).
  • Technologies that work in a similar way to cookies, such as local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), are also covered by this policy.

The Cookies We Currently Use

The fawres2.com site is published in 16 languages and the game server is still in pre-launch preparation. A single cookie is used across the whole site:

  • Cookie name: locale
  • Type: functional (used to remember your language preference)
  • Party: first-party, stored directly by fawres2.com
  • When it is written: only when you choose a language on the site. If you browse without choosing a language, this cookie is never saved to your device.
  • Purpose: to remember which of the 16 languages offered on the site you chose, so that you do not have to choose the language again on every visit.
  • Contents: only a short language code (for example tr, en, ar). Your name, e-mail address, identity details and payment details are not held in this cookie.
  • Retention period: 1 year (the cookie disappears when that period expires or when you delete it).
  • Security setting: SameSite=Lax. This setting limits when the cookie is sent with requests coming from other sites and prevents it from being used for cross-site tracking.

If you delete or block this cookie, the core functions of the site continue to work. Only your language preference is not remembered, and the language is then determined by your browser's language setting.

The lifetime of the cookie on your device and the retention period of records are two different concepts. The language preference cookie has a lifetime of 1 year, and that period is independent of the 10-year retention period stated in the contact section below.

No cookie other than this one is used on the site. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising or marketing cookie, no measurement code tracking visitor behaviour and no social media tracking pixel.

No third-party code is run on the site either. All components of the pages, including fonts and images, are served from our own server. No request goes from your browser to an external service unless you click a link.

Types of Cookies and What They Do

The classification below is there to explain what cookies are generally used for. Of these types, the only one actually used on the site is the functional cookie.

  • Strictly necessary cookies: cookies required for the site to stay up, for its security and for delivering the service you asked for. For example maintaining a logged-in state or security checks. Since the site has no account creation feature yet, no cookie of this type is used.
  • Functional cookies: they make the experience easier by remembering your preferences. The language preference cookie (locale) falls into this group and is the only cookie used on the site.
  • Analytics cookies: they help improve the site by producing aggregate statistics such as which pages are viewed and how often. Not used on the site.
  • Marketing cookies: used to display advertising, measure campaigns or carry out interest-based tracking across different sites. Not used on the site.

Cookies That May Be Added Later

  • Account creation, in-game purchases, in-game currency and a payment flow do not exist at present. These features are planned, and when they are switched on it may become necessary to add new cookies for session, security or payment verification purposes.
  • In that case this section will be updated before the new cookies go live. Which cookie is used for which purpose and for how long will be stated separately here.
  • For cookies that are not strictly necessary, your prior consent will be obtained where legislation requires it.

Third-Party Cookies

  • No third-party cookie is used on the site at present. The pages contain no embedded video, map, chat window, advertising network code or similar external content.
  • If such embedded content is added later, the relevant providers may place their own cookies. Our direct control over those cookies is limited and the relevant provider's own cookie and privacy policies apply to them. Which service is used and which cookies it places will be stated on this page before that content goes live.
  • The site contains external links to our community channels. These are our forum at board.fawres2.com together with our Discord, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp accounts. These links are nothing more than addresses. Unless you click them, no request goes to those platforms and none of their cookies are written to your device.
  • When you click an external link and move to another platform, that platform's own cookie practices take over. We have no control over the content and practices behind those links, and our responsibility for them is limited to the extent permitted by legislation.

Managing and Deleting Cookies in Your Browser

You do not have to accept cookies. Current, widely used browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. The general route to follow is this:

  • Open the settings section of your browser.
  • Under the privacy and security heading, go to the cookies or site data section.
  • From there you can list the existing cookies, delete them individually or all at once, and block new cookies from being saved.

Additional notes:

  • Menu names may differ in browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. For up-to-date steps it is best to look at your browser's own help pages.
  • On mobile devices the same settings are found in the settings section of the browser app.
  • Cookies saved in an incognito tab or private browsing mode are usually deleted when you close the window.
  • If you choose to block all cookies, some functions may not work as expected on this site and on other sites you visit.
  • On this site the only consequence of blocking or deleting is that your language preference is not remembered. No other function is affected.

Consent and Withdrawing Your Consent

  • The language preference cookie is a functional cookie used so that the site can be shown in the language you chose. Because it is written only when you choose a language, no separate consent panel is shown for it.
  • Since no non-essential cookie is used on the site, there is no cookie consent that you may have given and would need to withdraw.
  • If non-essential cookies, that is analytics and marketing cookies, come into use later, they will not be placed without your consent. In that case a cookie preference tool will be provided so that you can manage your choices, and how to use that tool will again be explained on this page.
  • You may withdraw the consent you have given at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place up to the moment you withdrew. The relevant cookies are not used from then on.
  • You can delete the language preference cookie from your browser whenever you like, with no need for any panel. How to do that is described in the previous section.
  • For general requests about cookies you can write to [email protected].
  • To exercise your rights arising from personal data protection legislation, to apply to the data controller or to request the deletion of your data, you can write to [email protected].
  • These addresses and our community channels are also listed in the next section.

Changes to This Policy

  • This policy is renewed when cookie use on the site changes, when a new cookie is added or when an update is required by legislation.
  • The aim is to update this page before a new type of cookie goes live.
  • For significant changes, we also inform you through the site as far as possible.
  • The effective date of this policy is 20.09.2026 and its last update date is 20.09.2026.
  • This policy is provided in sixteen languages. The original text is in Turkish and the other languages are an informational translation. In the event of a conflict the Turkish text prevails.
